All-new pationable Ford Ranger gets 2012 coming to MORE POWER, CAPABILITY AND TECHNOLOGIES good looking
The AAT plant in Thailand responsible for Ranger will kick off production in the middle of this year, before plants in South Africa and Argentina start production. Malaysia is of course getting the Ranger from our northern neighbour, and the first units are scheduled to arrive in early 2012. The Double Cab version that we see here (Regular and Super also available) measures 5,359 mm long and 1,850 mm wide, which means it takes over from the Nissan Navara (5,230 X 1,850 mm) as the largest truck in town. The Ranger’s wheelbase is 3,230 mm long, which is also the longest in the segment.Breaking away from the 2.5-litre trend, the new Ranger will come with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel with 150 PS and 375 Nm of torque. As you can see, despite the smaller capacity, this 2.2′s output betters that of the current Ranger and its 2.5L rivals in Malaysia, except for the Navara. On a 4X2 model, Ford says that fuel consumption is as low as 7.6L/100 km.Ranger introduces three new engines – including two Ford Duratorq TDCi diesel engines with up to 470 Nm of torque – and new six-speed transmissions engineered for uncompromised capability
The plan, Ford also will build Wildtrack Ranger in Thailand, South Africa and Argentina. Ranger Wildtrack is supported by the Ford Duratorq TDCi diesel engine a 2.2-liter 4-cylinder of capacity. The Ranger Wildtrack using a 6-speed transmission engine that was developed in Dagenham is to produce power 150 hp and 375 Nm of torque. And for a 3.2-liter 5-cylinder diesel engine version to produce power 200 hp and 470 Nm of torque.Breaking away from the 2.5-litre trend, the new Ranger will come with a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel with 150 PS and 375 Nm of torque. According to the Detroit News, it might only cost $20 a month more to get into an F-150.

Ford T6 is larger than the current Ranger pickup explicitly Have a beautiful design like Ford Edge, but it still maintains the same strength.found this image from Facebook.com of Fiestaclub one it was a picture of the project Rendering trucks that Ford T6 Introduces World’s First Year 2011 in ThailandBottom line: there is absolutely no excuse for the next generation Ranger (and Colorado for that matter) to not get 25-35 MPG in the automatic and 40+ MPG in the manual, on GAS. And be able to do some decent work. Maybe not F-150 or Silverado-level work, but a decent amount. And don't tell me the technology is not there and they "can't" do it. It all boils down to doing what everyone else who doesn't get government bailouts does these days to be successful: create smart, innovative products that SELL. It can be done, and needs to be. Find a way. Period.
